Alonso and Maria were married on Saturday May 31, 2025 in Rowlett, Texas at Sacred Heart Catholic Church followed by dinner and dancing at Hayes Hollow Venue.

They got ready in separate suites with Maria getting ready at her childhood home with all of her girls.

Alonso had flowers sent to Maria the morning of with a sentimental card addressed to "My Love" from "Honey Bunch" (pictured above).

Maria's bridal party consisted of a mix of friends and family. Maria had been a bridesmaid in a lot of their weddings, and you could just feel how excited they were to now stand by her side.

She was gifted a pendant by one of her bridesmaids with a picture of her and her father who passed away to wrap around her bouquet.

She got into her dress with the help of her mom followed by finishing touches with her bridesmaids.

First Touch and Prayer

Then, it was onto the church to get ready for Mass.

Alonso & Maria decided to do a first touch and private prayer in the church before the ceremony.

The final moments before becoming husband and wife.

There wasn't a dry eye in the room.

The Ceremony

When we were waiting in the bridal suite, Maria kept asking me, "Who's getting married today?" because it all didn't quite feel real yet.

As soon as she saw Alonso, everything changed. Everything set in.

Their ceremony was sacred, sentimental, and full of love and anticipation.

The Look that Alonso & Maria gave each other right after they were pronounced husband and wife always leaves me speechless.

After Family Photos, the Bridal Party and I headed outside to do some pictures by the historic Chapel at the Church as well as at the Venue. That

Dances & Toasts

The night started with Alonso and Maria's first dance followed by the parent dances. Alonso danced with his mom.

Maria surprised her mom with a first dance. She also surprised her Father-in-law with a dance since he had all sons.

The Reception

The night ended with lotssss of dancing, food, and surprises from the bridal party.

The groomsmen/brothers of the Groom surprised Alonso with a lightsaber fight since they were big fans of the Star Wars movies growing up. The bridesmaids surprised everyone by dressing up in a blow-up cow costume to dance to "La Vaca",

The bride and groom had pictures of their dogs printed out to be passed around as well!
